The La Playa Resort is located on one of Florida's most popular beaches and approximately 11 miles south of Daytona Beach International Airport. This location is also three mlies from Daytona Lagoon Water park and Daytona Beach Bandshell (theater). Htoel amenities include the indoor pool, Veranda Restaurant (serving breakfast daily), and oceanfront deck with pool, whirlpool, kids' pool, shuffleboard, and tiki bar.
The professional recreation staff organizes acitvities such as volleyball and bingo. The hotel also offers high-speed Internet access. Small pets are weclome (prior approval and/or fees may apply). The newly renovated oceanfront Penthouse Lounge features Bonkers Comedy Club on Friday and Saturday nights. All standard rooms feature pillow-top bedding, private balconies, safes, microwaves, small refrigerators, coffeemakers, hairdryers, iorns and ironing boards, and cable TV. Tehre is a nominal parking fee of $5.00 per day. Extra Person Policy: There is a $10 per person, per day charge for the 3rd and 4th persons in a room.
